in our series of “Life After High School”, Banking 101 is this Thursday January
21st during IC. Space is limited to 50 students, so please stop by
the Career Center to sign up to attend.

There is an important meeting this Friday. Yearbook will be coming to
take our picture so wear your Hoof Notes t-shirt and be on time for the meeting
in Ms. Servilican’s room, #214 at lunch. See you then!
Damonte Ranch Hour of Code was a success! 400 pieces
of pizza were consumed, over 100 students were introduced to the the world of
coding, and the 20 best games created by Damontes Computer Science students
were displayed ! Today we are excited to announce this years of Damonte Ranch's
Hour of Code raffle!

stay on course for ultimate success at Damonte Ranch. For this week, students and staff please
remember that it is a school rule that there is NO access to the vending
machines during class time. Please
appropriate your time accordingly when not in class to utilize the vending

Damonte! Do you want to be in a movie? Now's your chance! Macyn Elquist and Anna Engel are creating a
full-length feature film about bullying and the hardships of high school. The best part? Anyone can audition! No experience? Audition! Years of experience? Audition! There will be an audition sheet hanging by the
theater door along with plot and character descriptions: you can chose from the
following dates for your audition times: January 25, February 1, and February 8
at lunch as well as January 28, February 4, and February 5 during IC. Head on over to the theater and fill out that
sign up sheet! Thanks!
Just a friendly reminder that chess club is still meeting in room
114 (Mrs. Crowley’s room) every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch. We are
always looking for more people to join and have some fun with us. Hope to

The Alliance
with the Washoe County Medical Society
(AWCMS) will be holding its well-known annual Physicians’ Spouses’ (“Doctors’
Wives”) Rummage Sale on February 27, 2016, at the Reno Livestock Event Center.
Is seeking student volunteers from Damonte Ranch High School to participate in
our efforts to help the less fortunate in our community. Our workweek begins on
Monday, February 22, through Friday, February 26, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Sale day on Saturday, February 27, begins at 7:15 am and lasts until 4:30 pm. A
