The Student Store is looking for Rose Promoters . . . if you think you would be good at selling roses, come and see Michael or Lizzy in the student store at lunch!

 

Looking for a gift for that special someone? A rose for mom?  The Student Store is back open with roses and a whole new stock of tasty food for your enjoyment. We have even printed out a card for you to write a special message. Please stop by and see what we have to offer. Thank you!

 

Attention Students: Valentine’s Day is coming up and Hispanic Club will be selling Valentine Grams at lunch these two weeks. You can reach us in front of the Career Center to buy one, and give someone a greeting for this day with a nice Valentine gram. Please provide the fifth period room number for delivery. Deliveries will be made on Friday, the 12th at 5*.

 

This year, the literary magazine, Hoof Notes, is mixing it up!  Instead of using the envelopes, head to hoofnotedrhs.weebly.com to submit your pieces.  There will still be a few envelopes scattered around the school, it that fits your needs better.  Submit before it's too late, and you could win some great prizes.  (Run through 2/5/16)

 

Students attention!  Hoof Notes is looking for a graphically designed cover this year.  If you are interested in submitting a cover for our magazine, please make sure it’s graphically designed, has the title Hoof Notes on it and in some way represents out school and writing.  Be creative and send your submission through our website at hoofnotedrhs.weebly.com.  All you graphic designers get on it.  There’s a $100.00 gift card for the winner!  All submissions are due by March 18th(Run through 2/5/16)

Are you looking for a part-time, paying job right here at school?  The cafeteria is hiring students who are reliable, can think on their feet and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Do you want to be your own boss? The Nevada Chamber of Commerce is looking for students who want help starting their own business. Now is the time to apply. Scholarships are available. Attention Seniors, if you haven’t filled out your “Senior Quote” and “Senior Standout” forms for the yearbook yet, you can pick them up at the office or in room 130.  Pleased turn them into Ms. Chachas in room 130.  They are due Friday February 23rd.  

 

Another reminder Seniors, the last day to purchase and upload your Senior Tribute ad is February 23rd at yearbookforever.com. This is the part of the yearbook were your parents or friends can designate a section just for you!  You only have a month left and spots are limited.  So tell your loved ones to go to yearbookforever.com.  (Friday February 5th)  

 

The Alliance with the Washoe County Medical Society  (AWCMS) will be holding its well-known annual Physicians’ Spouses’ (“Doctors’ Wives”) Rummage Sale on February 27, 2016, at the Reno Livestock Event Center. Is seeking student volunteers from Damonte Ranch High School to participate in our efforts to help the less fortunate in our community. Our workweek begins on Monday, February 22, through Friday, February 26, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Sale day on Saturday, February 27, begins at 7:15 am and lasts until 4:30 pm.
