PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS AN “A” DAY

 

THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, MAY 29, 2017, IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY.

 

Thank you to all of you who have submitted work to Hoof Notes.  We are no longer accepting submissions!  Please look for our magazine to come out in the fall with the winners being announced at that time.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Ms. Servilican in room 214. 

Sophomores, are you enrolled in AP Language and Composition next year?  Drop by the Career Center Wednesday, May 31, or Thursday, June 1, after school for course details and assignments.

We are very excited to notify you that Yearbooks arrive this week! We will be passing out purchased books next week. If you haven’t yet purchased a yearbook be sure to do so before June 2^nd to make sure you get one before they sell out and prices increase. Do so today at yearbookforever.com or through the bookkeeper’s office!

 

The DRHS Lunch choir, our own a cappella choir, is performing concerts on Friday, May 26, at 3 pm and 7 pm.  It will be in our theatre and is FREE, although donations will be accepted.  Come hear our amazing a cappella group!

 

Attention all girls interested in playing golf next year.  There will be a meeting in room 119 on Friday May 26^th for you to sign up for try outs and learn more information for next season.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Guzman in 119 or Mr. Magrum in room 107.  See you at the meeting.

 

Hello Mustangs,

     As the weather begins to get warmer, it is imperative that students continue to follow the Washoe County School District (WSCD) dress code.  The WCSD dress code policy may be found in the student planner, in the display in front of Student Services, and on our DRHS website. 

     So be sure shorts and dresses are at least mid-length (roughly to the bottom of your fingertips when you stand up straight), and keep those hats and hoodies off while on campus, etc.

     If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Student Services.

     The staff at Damonte Ranch is committed to working with you to ensure all students have a successful spring semester in the classroom, and we can do so by limiting dress code violation distractions.

The final exam schedule has been updated. Final exams will be Wednesday June 7^th, Thursday June 8^th and Friday June 9^th.
