first home, varsity football game
on Friday, August 24th and support your school!
Remember
- Sit on the Damonte side. Students are not allowed to go to the visitor side.
- Once you enter the football stadium, no reentry is allowed.
- Leave your backpacks at home.
- You may not bring beverages inside the gate.
- Entry is free with an activity sticker or students pay $4.
(An activity sticker
will get you into all home football and basketball games.)
Wear your school
colors. We hope to see you there!

Picture
day for grades 9-11 will be this Thursday, August 16 and Friday, August 17 in
the Gym Foyer. All students must have
their photos taken to receive a DRHS student ID. These photos are also used for yearbook so
make sure to attend with your English classes!
The Speech & Debate Team will be holding their first regular meeting of the season on
Thursday, August 16th, after school in the Career Center. Email damontedebate@gmail.com if you have any questions or need more info.
Would
you like a fun place to come at lunch to watch anime, play games, or just hang
out with friends? Fanagame has just that. We meet Mondays and Fridays at lunch
starting August 17.
Looking
for a cool club to join? Something that is not only laid back and relaxing but
intellectually stimulating at the same time. Then come to the Coffee Shop
Club today at lunch in room 108. The Coffee Shop Club is the coolest,
hippest place on campus. We talk about contemporary issues and share
poetry and music. It’s cool. It’s safe. It for anybody.
Optional attire, a black beret and turtleneck.
Are you interested in taking ASVAB test? The test is scheduled for Thursday, August 30th.

Is community and family important to
you? Are you competitive? Do you want to build on your confidence
and leadership skills? If so, come join
us in F.C.C.L.A. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America will
allow you to build friendships, confidence, leadership skills, and help out
your community. In addition, you can compete from a variety of different
events at the state and national level. We will meet each Tuesday at
lunch in room 117 (foods room). Come check it out and be a part of this
amazing organization. See Mrs. Thiede if you have any further questions.
The FBLA club wants to welcome you back to a new and exciting school year. This past summer several Damonte Students traveled to Washington, DC, and competed nationally for FBLA. Were excited to continue the FBLA club this year! Come to room 101 on Thursday at lunch to learn more about what we're going to be doing this year. Come join the fun!
Seniors! Senior Sunrise is Friday, August 17th! The event starts at 5:00 am and breakfast will
be provided! Balloons will be sold for a
dollar and will be released at sunrise. Come
have fun with friends and celebrate the beginning of the end!
The
Student Store will be open for business during lunches starting Monday, August 20th.
