TODAY IS AN “A” DAY
Fellowship
of Christian Athletes will be having its first leadership meeting of the year on
Wednesday, August 22nd in room 109 during lunch. The first
club meeting open to all students will be on Tuesday, Sept 11th in room
109. The leadership meetings will be on every Wednesday during lunch in
109. FCA is a club that is open to all students, whether you are an
athlete, a Christian, or not. Everyone is welcome to attend! (Run
8/20-8/23)
Drama Club is HAPPENING! We meet every Tuesday at lunch in the theatre, so bring your lunch and come have fun! Oh . . . speaking of drama, thank you to all the great students who auditioned last week for our fall productions! Cast lists are going up for both shows this week--swing by the bulletin board outside the theatre to see who's going to appear on stage this semester!
Are
you good at math?
Do you like to help other students? The math department is looking for
Math Peer Tutors for periods 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. IC peer tutors are
especially needed for Geometry and Algebra 2. Please see Mrs. Ault in
room 122 if you are interested. (Run

Mustangs- Come to the first home, varsity football game on Friday, August 24th
and support your school!
Remember
- Sit on the Damonte side. Students are not allowed to go to the visitor side.
- Once you enter the football stadium, no reentry is allowed.
- Leave your backpacks at home.
- You may not bring beverages inside the gate.
- Entry is free with an activity sticker or students pay $4.
(An
activity sticker will get you into all home football and basketball
games.)
Wear

out with friends? Fanagame has just that. We meet Mondays and Fridays at lunch
starting August 17.
Looking
for a cool club to join? Something that is not only laid back and relaxing but
intellectually stimulating at the same time. Then come to the Coffee Shop
Club today at lunch in room 108. The Coffee Shop Club is the coolest,
hippest place on campus. We talk about contemporary issues and share
poetry and music. It’s cool. It’s safe. It for anybody.
Optional attire, a black beret and turtleneck.
Are you interested in taking ASVAB test? The test is scheduled for Thursday, August 30th.

Is community and family important to
you? Are you competitive? Do you want to build on your confidence
and leadership skills? If so, come join
us in F.C.C.L.A. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America will
allow you to build friendships, confidence, leadership skills, and help out
your community. In addition, you can compete from a variety of different
events at the state and national level. We will meet each Tuesday at
lunch in room 117 (foods room). Come check it out and be a part of this
amazing organization. See Mrs. Thiede if you have any further questions.
The FBLA club wants to welcome you back to a new and exciting school year. This past summer several Damonte Students traveled to Washington, DC, and competed nationally for FBLA. Were excited to continue the FBLA club this year! Come to room 101 on Thursday at lunch to learn more about what we're going to be doing this year. Come join the fun!
