PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is a “B” DaY
Attention Students: Please remember if you are feeling ill at school, get a pass from your
teacher to go to the Clinic. You will be
able to call home and check out properly from the Clinic. Please do not leave school without checking
out properly. Thank you.
The
CLS coffee club will be starting again on Monday, August 25th.
Staff can email Ms. Dehuff with their request or come to room 106 to place your
order. Students can purchase coffee before school or during passing, NOT during
class! We will serve until lunch. It is $1.00, and we offer French
Vanilla or regular creamer.
Volleyball
is having a car wash this Saturday, 8/23, from 10 am to 2pm at the 7-11 on
Virginia Street and Arrowcreek Parkway. Tickets are just $5.00 and can be
purchased from any volleyball player. Thanks for your support!!
Students!
Don’t forget that auditions for the fall show, a hilarious and bizarre
comedy called The Love of Three Oranges, is this Thursday after school in the
theatre! You MUST bring with you a signed audition form, so grab one from
the bulletin board outside the theatre! Today after school is the final
audition workshop, and we’re reading the play—come by and see what it’s about!
AND
. . . today at lunch is the first Drama Club meeting, in the theatre!
Bring your lunch and come join us, and learn about everything we’ve got planned
this year!
Hello class of 2018! Are you looking for a new way to get involved,
contribute to your school, or to have some fun? Student Council is now accepting freshman
applications for officer and representative positions. Apply to be a candidate for the positions of
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or Representative. Pick up a packet in the office or in room 101.
Packets are due Monday, August 25th to
Ms. Lombardi in room 101 by 2:30 PM, if you have any questions stop by room 101

Are
you good at math?
Do you like to help other students? The math department is looking for
Math Peer Tutors for during IC and all other periods for Algebra 1, Geometry,
and Algebra 2. Please see Mrs. Ault in room 122 if you are interested.
