PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is a “B” DaY
Hello class of 2018! Are you looking for a new way to get involved,
contribute to your school, or to have some fun? Student Council is now accepting freshman
applications for officer and representative positions. Apply to be a candidate for the positions of
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or Representative. Pick up a packet in the office or in room 101.
Packets are due Monday August 25th to
Ms. Lombardi in room 101 by 2:30 PM, if you have any questions stop by room 101
or email Student Body President Alex Pollock at stuco_president@damonteranchhs.com.
Are
you good at math?
Do you like to help other students? The math department is looking for
Math Peer Tutors for during IC and all other periods for Algebra 1, Geometry,
and Algebra 2. Please see Mrs. Ault in room 122 if you are interested.

Christian Club will meet every Wednesday
in Sawyer’s room at lunch. Everyone is invited to attend, the meetings
will be a place to discuss faith, school, and issues that face all
teenagers. We look forward to seeing you at Christian Club!!
LIFE TOUCH PICTURE DAYS-monday & Tuesday, August 18 &
19, 2014, in the Gym Foyer.
Attention
all students
who have previously rocked the Kasbah in chemistry: We’re looking for
anyone who has previously taken honors chemistry and passed with a B or better
to be peer tutors this year. If you fit the bill, come stop by Mrs.
Crowley’s room, room 114 for further details.
Senior Tee Shirt Sales are all
this week during lunch outside the Career
Center. Please bring a check for 12.00 dollars or exact change. Shirts ordered
and paid for by this Friday will be ready by Senior Sunrise Friday August 22nd.
If you are
interested in being Monte the Mustang for football season, there will be an informational meeting next
Monday, August 18 at 2:45 in the Commons. Tryout packets are available in
the office.
If
you are interested in getting involved in community and school service
opportunities, come check out the Key Club in room 218 at lunch Tuesday 8/19.
All officers must attend!
