PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is aN “A” DaY
Students!
Don’t forget that auditions for the fall show, a hilarious and bizarre comedy called
The Love of Three Oranges, is this Thursday after school in the theatre!
You MUST bring with you a signed audition form, so grab one from the bulletin
board outside the theatre! Today after school is the final audition
workshop, and we’re reading the play—come by and see what it’s about!
AND
. . . today at lunch is the first Drama Club meeting, in the theatre!
Bring your lunch and come join us, and learn about everything we’ve got planned
this year!
The
first meeting of the International Club will be this Thursday, lunchtime, room
232. (We meet every Thursday, A day, at lunch!) We talk about other
parts of our World, and usually have something to eat, too! It’s fun!
Come join us and meet other people. See you there!
Hello class of 2018! Are you looking for a new way to get involved,
contribute to your school, or to have some fun? Student Council is now accepting freshman
applications for officer and representative positions. Apply to be a candidate for the positions of
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer or Representative. Pick up a packet in the office or in room 101.
Packets are due Monday August 25th to
Ms. Lombardi in room 101 by 2:30 PM, if you have any questions stop by room 101

Are
you good at math?
Do you like to help other students? The math department is looking for
Math Peer Tutors for during IC and all other periods for Algebra 1, Geometry,
and Algebra 2. Please see Mrs. Ault in room 122 if you are interested.

Christian Club will meet every Wednesday
in Sawyer’s room at lunch. Everyone is invited to attend, the meetings
will be a place to discuss faith, school, and issues that face all
teenagers. We look forward to seeing you at Christian Club!!
LIFE TOUCH PICTURE DAYS-monday & Tuesday, August 18 &
19, 2014, in the Gym Foyer.
Attention
all students
who have previously rocked the Kasbah in chemistry: We’re looking for
anyone who has previously taken honors chemistry and passed with a B or better
to be peer tutors this year. If you fit the bill, come stop by Mrs.
Crowley’s room, room 114 for further details.
If
you are interested in getting involved in community and school service
opportunities, come check out the Key Club in room 218 at lunch Tuesday 8/19.
