PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is a “B” DaY
Students: Please remind your parents that Open
House is Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 pm.
Open House is a “Parents Only” event.
Car
Wash! Car wash! Car Wash! Please come out and support your dance team
and get your vehicle cleaned at the same time! On Saturday, Sept 6 from 9
am-noon, the dance team will be having a car wash at the Les Schwab tire center
on S. Virginia in between South Virginia St. and South Meadows Parkway.
You can purchase a ticket from any dance team member! $5 for cars and $7 for
trucks or vans. Come one, come all!!!!!
Students,
there are still copies of Damonte’s literary magazine, Hoof Notes, available
in Ms. Servilican’s room 214 for $5.00. If you didn’t have the
opportunity to get one, see Ms. Servilican and get your copy today.
(If possible when
making announcement, show copy of Hoof Notes as a prop. Antonio Salas has
a copy! Thank you!)
Attention Students: Please remember if you are feeling ill at school, get a pass from your
teacher to go to the Clinic. You will be
able to call home and check out properly from the Clinic. Please do not leave school without checking
out properly. Thank you.
The
CLS coffee club HAS startED again. Staff can email Ms. Dehuff with their
request or come to room 106 to place your order. Students can purchase coffee
before school or during passing, NOT during class! We will serve until lunch.
It is $1.00, and we offer French Vanilla or regular creamer.
Are
you good at math?
Do you like to help other students? The math department is looking for
Math Peer Tutors for during IC and all other periods for Algebra 1, Geometry,
and Algebra 2. Please see Mrs. Ault in room 122 if you are interested.
