PLEDGE & MOMENT OF SILENCE
Today is aN “A” DaY
Auditions
for the first play of the year, a bizarre comedy called The Love of Three
Oranges, are coming up already! While information about the show and
audition times is available on the bulletin board outside the theatre door,
you’ll want to make time to attend the pre-audition workshops so that you’ll be
able to present your best audition! Our first workshop is this Wednesday,
August 13th, from 2:30-4:00 in the theatre. Auditions are open
to everyone in the entire school, so come on by and have a blast with us
learning about comedy and how to give your best audition!
Attention
all students
who have previously rocked the Kasbah in chemistry: We’re looking for
anyone who has previously taken honors chemistry and passed with a B or better
to be peer tutors this year. If you fit the bill, come stop by Mrs.
Crowley’s room, room 114 for further details.
Interested in joining an amazing
team? Speech and Debate meet and greet
takes place Wednesday, August 13th during lunch in the Career
Center. Meetings are every Thursday in the Career Center starting at 2:45 until
4:00. First tournament is September 19th and 20th here at
Damonte Ranch.
Senior Tee Shirt Sales are all
this week during lunch outside the Career
Center. Please bring a check for 12.00 dollars or exact change. Shirts ordered
and paid for by this Friday will be ready by Senior Sunrise Friday August 22nd.
If you are
interested in being Monte the Mustang for football season, there will be an informational meeting next
Monday, August 18 at 2:45 in the Commons. Tryout packets are available in
the office.
If
you are interested in getting involved in community and school service
opportunities, come check out the Key Club in room 218 at lunch Tuesday 8/19.
All officers must attend!
There will be a boys’ soccer meeting at lunch in room 109 on Thursday.
